- שִׁיחָה, שוּ׳f. (שָׁחַת; v. preced.) low talk, whisper (cmp. Is. 29:4). Sabb.152a (ref. to Koh. 12:4) שאפי׳ קול שרים ושרות דומות עליו כשִׁי׳ Ms. M. (ed. שירים ושירות כשוּ׳, corr. acc.) even the loud songs of singers and songstresses sound to him like a whisper; Yalk. Koh. 989.
